Focus: A Community for Expats
Crisis

FOCUS is a unique community for expats and international professionals living in the UK. FOCUS members are instantly connected to like-minded people and gain access to resources, events and career seminars to enhance their international experience. They have been providing Award-winning support to expatriates for over 30 years, and The Pitch Process is proud to be running workshops for their members, empowering them to find  their voice and speak with power and confidence.

John Lewis Partnership

Founded in 1925, the John Lewis Partnership centres around their founder's vision that a successful business is powered by its people, meaning that the UK's leading retail company is actually owned by the 85,500 Partners working for John Lewis and Waitrose. They believe in forming long term relationships with both their employees ('partners') and their suppliers. The Pitch Process worked with their top team of staff trainers to help ensure they were delivering this message authentically and with confidence. Our Understanding Me workshop focussed on the tools for imparting comprehensive customer service skills training which would align with the Waitrose principles of inclusivity and sustainability.

Revolutionising the way people and companies work, The Pitch Process now has its home at WeWork Finsbury Pavement, and has been invited to be a Network Mentor, coaching new cohorts at WeWork Labs.

Francis Holland School

Crisis is the UK national charity for single homeless people. The charity offers year-round education, employment, housing and well-being services from centres in London, Newcastle, Oxford, Edinburgh and Merseyside, called Crisis Skylight Centres. The Pitch Process is proud to be working with Crisis on a regular basis, running workshops in Confident Communication on their bi-annual Employment Platform days. These are to help their clients find and maintain employment, focussing on essential presentation and communication skills needed to secure that first job.

BroadMinded

BroadMinded is a community for curious and ambitious women, which focusses on bringing together talented and dynamic women from a wide range of sectors, believing that "No two ‘Broads’ are alike". They organise regular events, courses and workshops in London to inspire members to do more and do it well, as well as events where women can be honest about the challenges they face, encourage and learn from each other's experiences. The Pitch Process will be delivering Presentation Skills talks and workshops for BroadMinded.

Global Girl Media UK

Global Girl Media empowers young women from under-served communities through digital journalism and media training to bring their powerful perspectives to the global media stage. Their network has been active in the US, South Africa, Kosovo and Morocco for 8 years. Pitch is delighted to be running workshops during their summer training program, to build confidence in presence and communication for the women of our future media platforms.

North London Collegiate School

Francis Holland School is a leading London independent day school for girls aged 11-18. The Pitch Process has given lectures on the importance of powerful presence and communication skills for university and employment interviews, and will soon be working with the 6th Form on an intensive Life Skills series. These will focus on the importance of self-awareness and presence, the power of clear communication and gaining leadership skills.

North London Collegiate School is a leading UK independent day school for girls aged 4 - 18, founded in 1850. Having been in conversation with the school, we are excited to be running a Communication skills workshop in the summer with their Year 10 girls, which will form the basis of a longer series of workshops in the Autumn term, helping the girls to make that all important transition from their GCSE years to more independent learning and interactive relationships with their peers and colleagues.
